Safer Communities Ministry, Inc. (SCM) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that provides rehabilitation programs and aftercare for inmates, ex-offenders, addicts, and their families. We partner with churches, religious organizations, community and government service providers, businesses, and civic groups in Union County, NC and surrounding counties.

But we’re so much more. At our core, we’re a collection of like-minded people who believe that everyone deserves a second chance to lead a healthy, happy life. And we are certain that anyone can be rehabilitated and transformed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
